Leyland Archives DVD

In 1969 the Nuffield range was replaced by the British Leyland tractor models and, from then until 1982, the Leyland tractor was a major force in agriculture the world over. This programme uses six original archive films produced by British Leyland from 1969 to 1980, and charts the development of the range from the first models through the revised 1972 range and the big six cylinder tractors

The Synchro range is also introduced followed by new four wheel drive models. Finally, the Golden Harvest tractors are launched, the last machines to carry the Leyland name. Stephen Richmond links the six films featured with the help of our very own Leyland 472 and also tells the full story, from Nuffield to Marshall. These superb original films give a unique and previously unseen look at the Leyland tractor and have not been seen for around thirty years – and some were only ever shown to the dealers themselves!
