This programme takes a close look at the Meltham built tractor range right from the Ferguson-Brown, through the VAK1 and Cropmaster era, right up to the Implematic range and the the orchid white Selectamatic seriesThe 885, 995 and 996 are also included along with the introduction of the Hydrashift transmission on the 1212 model before the 90 Series saw the introduction of better cabs. The Case era started in 1972 and by 1983 the 94 Series had lost the David Brown name and became Case IH tractors in 1985. Finally we look at the David Brown legacy inlcuding the David Brown tractor that never was – the Case IH Maxxum!
