Description
In 2015 a milestone was reached in a small Suffolk village when the local ploughing match reached its 25th year. Brampton Plough Day is much more than that, with trade stands, classic car and stationary engine display, and ring entertainment, this one day show has grown every year.
The ploughing is also hotly contested with a large number of competitors from the lcoal area with a wide range of tractors and ploughs. There is also a ‘play’ area where tractors can be given a good workout with ploughs an dother implements without the constraints of competition. There is also often a theme for the event, such as crawlers or single cylinder tractors.
This DVD is a record of all the action from the 25th Bramptoon Plough Day but also uses still photographs and video footage to take us back in time to the Plough Days of the past. Join us for a bewildering arrary of tractors being put through their paces, from Twin City to County 1174.
